This Indenture made this 27th day of December in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty seven
between Isaac Crawford of the County of St Francis and
State of Missouri of the first part and William F Pidgeon
of the County of Bartholomew and State of Indiana of the
second part witnesseth that the said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and 
thirty five dollars to the said party of the first part by the
party of the second part in hand paid the receipt where
of is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant bargain sell convey and

confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and
assigns forever, all my interest being the one undivided seventh
part of all the following described pieces or parcels of
land to wit: The East half of the North East quarter of
Section fourteen and the South West quarter of the North West
quarter of section thirteen in township nine north of Range
five East being the undivided interest of Isaac Crawford
in and to said land formerly owned by his father Is
aac Crawford deceased. To have and to hold the above
described premises with all the improvements and ap
purtenances to the same belonging to the said party of
the second part, his heirs and assigns forever and the
said party of the first part for himself and his heirs do
hereby covenant with the said party of the second part
and his heirs that he is lawfully seized in fee of the
premises aforesaid that the premises are free and clear
from all incumbrances whatsoever and that he will
forever warrant and defend the same and the
quiet and personable possession thereof together with
the appurteancnes to the same belonging unto the said
William F Pidgeon his heirs and assigns against the
lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
In witness whereof the said Isaac Crawford has
hereunto set his hands and seal the day and year
first above written.
