This Indenture made this fourteenth day of July in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty between
John Crawford of the County of Garret and state of Kentucky of
the first part and Harvey Dickinson of the County of Bartholomew
and state of Indiana of the second part witnesseth that the said
John Crawford for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred
and twenty dollars lawful money of the state of Indiana to me
in hand paid by the said Harvey Dickinson the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by
these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto Harvey Dickinson
his heirs and assigns forever all of my undivided share of the Estate of
Isaac Crawford deceased of the following described tracts or parcels of
land situate in the County of Bartholomew and state aforesaid
and known and designated as the North East quarter of the North
East Quarter of section fourteen (14) in Township no Nine Range
five East and also the South half of the North West quarter of
section no thirteen in Township no Nine Range five East in
the district of lands sold at Jeffersonville Indiana together all
and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
To have and to hold the above described parcels of land with the app
urtenances to the same belonging to the said Harvey Dickinson his
heirs and assigns forever and the said John Crawford himself and for
his heirs and assigns will forever warrant and defend the title tot he said
Harvey Dickinson and his heirs and assigns forever
