This Indenture witnesseth that George W Crawford of the county
of Clinton and state of Missouri in consideration of one hundred
twenty dollars to him paid by Henry Dickison of the County of Bartholo
mew and State of Indiana the receipt of which is hereby ackn
owledged does hereby grant bargain sell and convey to the said
Henry Dickison his heirs and assigns forever the following described
real estate to wit: The undivided seventh part of the south west
quarter of the North West quarter of section thirteen also the East
half of the North East quarter of section fourteen all in township
nine North of range five East being the interest of said George
W Crawford in and to the land formerly owned by his ancestor
Isaac Crawford with the appurtenances thereto belonging
to have and to hold the same to the said Henry his
heirs and assigns forever hereby covenanting that the title so conveyed
is clear free and unencumbered and that he the said George
W Crawford will warrant and defend the title to the same
against all claims whatsoever
In testimony whereof the said George W Crawford hereunto sets
his hand and seal the seventeenth day of December in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four
