This Indenture made this eight day of August in the year of our [Lord]
one thousand eight hundred and seventeen between Isaac Crawford & [Nancy]
his wife both of Jefferson County State of Indiana of the fist part and [?]
Hudson of Clark County State of Georgia of the second part [?]
Isaac Crawford & Nancy his wife for and in consideration

by the said Gillum Hudson the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have grant
ed bargained sold aliened released conveyed and [confirms] and by these presents
do grant bargain sell alien release convey and confirm unto the said Gilluam
Hudson his heirs and assigns forever eighty acres of land being the northern half
in the northeast quarter of section twenty in township four north in range ten
east of the lands sold at Jeffersonville by the United States of American also twen
ty five acres of land to be laid off [parrelal] with the aforesaid eighty acres out of
the north east quarter of section seventeen in township four north and range
ten east of the lands sold at Jeffersonville as aforesaid the said twenty five acres
to be laid off on the easter side of the said last mentioned quarter section
and joining the eight acres also mentioned in its whole length and all
the estate, right title interest claims and demand of them the said Isaac
Crawford and Nancy his wife of in and to the said premises and every part
thereof Together with all and singular the priveleges and appurtenances to the
same belonging or in any wise appertaining and the rents issues and profits[there]
first to have and to hold the premises hereby bargained and sold [or meant]
or intended to be the appurtenances to the only proper use and behoof
of the said Gillum Hudson his heirs and assigns forever and the said I
saac Crawford and Nancy his wife their heirs executors and administrators
do covenant promise and agree to and with the said Gillum Hudson
his heirs executors administrators and assigns that they are the true and
lawful owners of the premises hereby granted and have good right full power
and lawful authority to will and convey the same in manner and form a
foresaid and further that they the said Isaac Crawford and Nancy
his wife their heirs executors and administrators will warrant and forever
defend the aforesaid premises with the appurtenances and every part and
parcel thereof unto the said Gillum Hudson his heirs and assigns against
[any] form or under any other person or persons whomsoever In witness
[thereof] the said Isaac Crawford and Nancy his wife have hereunto set
[their] hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Before Abner Clarkson a justice of the peace
in and for said County personally appeared Isaac Crawford and Nancy
Crawford his wife two of the parties and acknowledged the above deed & Con
veyance to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses and purpose there
in mentioned the said Nancy having been examined freely and apart form
her said husband. Given under my name and seal this 9th day of August
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen
