This Indenture made the eighth day of August in the year of
our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventeen between
Isaac Crawford & Nancy his wife both of Jefferson County and
State of Indiana of the first part and Gillum Hudson
of Elbert County State of Georgia of the second part witnesseth
that the said Isaac Crawford & Nancy his wife for and in
consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars lawful money of
the United States to them in hand well and truly paid by the
said Gillum Hudson the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold aliened released conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien release convey and
confirm unto the said Gillum Hudson his heirs and assigns
forever eighty acres of land being the northern half of the North
East quarter of section twenty in township four North in range
ten East of the lands sold at Jeffersonville by the United State
of America. Also twenty five acres of land to be laid off parallel
with the aforesaid eighty acres out of the South East quarter of section
seventeen in Township four north and Range ten East of the lands
sold at Jeffersonville as aforesaid the said twenty five acres to be laid
off on the Southern side of the said last mentioned quarter section
and joining the eighty acres above mentioned in its whole length
and all the estate right title interest claim and demand of them
the said Isaac Crawford and Nancy his wife of in and to the
said premises and every part thereof together with all and 
singular the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging
or in any wise appertaining and the  rents issues and profits
thereof to have and to hold the premises hereby bargained and sold
or meant or intended so to be with the appurtenances to the only
proper use and behoof of the said Gillum Hadson his heirs and
assigns forever, and the said Isaac Crawford and Nancy his
wife their heirs executors and administrators doe covenant promise
and agree to and with the said Gillum Hudson his heirs executors
administrators and assigns that they are the tru and lawful
owners of the premises hereby granted and have good right
full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the same
in manner and form aforesaid and further that they
the said Isaac Crawford and Nancy his wife their heirs

executors and administrators will warrant and forever defend
the aforesaid premises with the appurtenances and every part
and parcel thereof unto the said Gillum Hudson his heirs
and assigns against all persons claiming or to claim by from
or under them or any of them or by from or under any other
person or persons whomsover In witness whereof the
said Isaac Crawford and Nancy his wife have hereunto
set their hands and seals the day and year first above

Before Abner Clarkson Justice 
of the Peace within and for said county
personally appeared Isaac Crawford and Nancy Crawford his
wife two of the parties and acknowledged the above deed
of conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses
and purposes therein mentioned the said Nancy having been
examined privately and apart from her said husband
given under my hand and seal this 9th day of August in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen
